Ballet Tucson Nutcracker-A memorable performance
This was the 5th year I brought my daughter to the Nutcracker. This year, we brought along my sister-in-law and 5 year old niece. This was their first ballet and they loved it. I was totally disappointed when we got there and saw the cover on the orchestra pit. The canned music was subpar. A live orchestra is expected for an event such as this. Next year before purchasing tickets, I will check first to see if the orchestra will be included. If not, we will be driving up to Phoenix for our annual Nutcracker event. Overall, the performance, dancers, and subtle changes to the dances were all excellent!
